about

A brief history of the making of "Dreamland":

"elevation" was an independent Japanese hip hop label that housed international acts like Bop Alloy, 14?, Zane and more. They were active from 2008 until the sudden, autonomous closure of its Tokyo and New York offices in 2012 by Tsune Ito. Because of this, "Dreamland" and several other songs were never released.

Cise Star told me about the situation of the song earlier this year after being contacted by 14?. I then spoke with Kensuke Yamamoto (former president of elevation), and we all agreed that the track deserved a proper release. Since then, the song has been re-mixed and re-mastered from its original recording in 2011.

From everyone at Absolutzero, and everyone involved in the process of creating this song, we hope you enjoy it.

Thank you.
